History: Cobalt didn't have any friends during school. He was always that kid that talked to himself. His father was a scientist, and always had bubbling liquids around to play with. One day, he mixed a bunch of them together, just for fun. Then, to hide his mixture from his dad, he drank it. It didn't taste very good, but then he felt very tingly and grew taller than his dad! Luckily, it wore off in a couple of minutes. He then realized he was good at making potions. So, his cutie mark appeared.

Example RP scene: It was dark out and not many ponies walked about. He wanted to get home as soon as possible. He was out on an errand to get more supplies for his potions, and Zecora had a lot of them. A lot of the ponies still out eyed him suspiciously because of his hooded cloak. "Gotta get back quickly," Cobalt said to himself. He was always talking to himself, which many found weird. "HI!" a loud, high pitched voice said. Cobalt jumped, dropping his supplies. It was only Pinkie, who he had met when walking to his new house in Ponyville.
